Many of these companies are owned by women, who help women in cooperatives around the world. Most of the ingredients are also organic, so they are healthier for your skin, lips, hair, etc. These are some exciting products to use, since you will feel good at so many different levels after using them.

Anti-Body was created in 2005 after founders Tamara Johnston-McMahon, Steven and Shelby Moser felt the need to lead a more purpose-filled life. They had a desire to create consumer products that would benefit both the customer and the individuals from developing countries who produce their ingredients. This company now makes body products from fair trade and organic ingredients. They offer chapstick, shampoo, lotions and many more.

Inara
Inara is a 100% organic body care line inspired by enduring native rituals. Inara believes in crafting products that provide an enriching personal experience for everyone who uses them. To support this belief, they work with women’s cooperatives, and other indigenous groups around the world, to obtain the rare ingredients needed to create their body oils, lotions, scrubs and bath products.

Fair Indigo
Fair Indigo is a clothing company formed by professionals in the field of clothing manufacturing. They work with factories that have ethical working conditions, and encourage them to follow fair trade practices.

Kusikuy Clothing Company
Founded in Bolivia in 1997, KUSIKUY was developed by US Peace Corps volunteer, Tamara Stenn. It is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and Green America. They make different beautiful articles of clothing from Alpaca wool, and work mostly with Peruvian and Bolivian artisans.

Marigold Fair Trade Clothing
Marigold is a company that works with women from South Asian who make fashionable wood block printed fabrics and embroidery. They are based in Washington state and are proud members of the Fair Trade Federation. They work with a women co-op that trains the women in sewing and embroidery, which provides them with a skill and vital income to help craft a better future.

Fair Industry
Fair Industry is a woman-owned, volunteer-supported fair trade enterprise based in Princeton, New Jersey. Fair Industry's original fair trade clothing line is designed by the owner, Lauren Markley, and is produced by Artisan Hut, a Bangladesh organization that supports hand weavers, spinners and embroiderers facing unemployment due to the mechanization of the garment industry.

Maggie's Functional Organics
Maggie's Organics was founded in 1992 on the premise that all workers could be treated ethically and that clothing could be functional, beautiful and affordable and also constructed of environmentally sustainable materials. They now carry organic and fair trade socks, scarves, tights, lounge wear, legwarmers, tees, baby clothes, new sock monkeys and fashionable tops.
