Juan Portillo, who is in charge of marketing at Handmade Expressions, was invited to make a 50 minute presentation on The Importance of Fair Trade at Collin County Community College early in November. Originally scheduled for October (in celebration of Fair Trade Month), the presentation was moved to November 6.

After presenting, Juan tabled in the middle of the college to answer any questions about Fair Trade. Many people of all ages and backgrounds approached the table, touched some samples, took flyers from Handmade Expressions and TransFair USA, asked questions and then went to another table with samples of Fair Trade Certified chocolate covered strawberries!
