These beautiful journals are a great way to raise awareness about breast cancer. Each journal has 30 white sheets of paper inside, made by recycling cotton waste from the textile industry (making the journal 100% tree-free). The front is embellished with hand-embroidery and comes in 2 designs. Pink or lilac colors are available for the 4" x 6" size, and pink, lilac, and white are available for the miniature 2.5" x 3.5" size.
The designs are of a tree or an angel. In both cases, a pink ribbon makes the body of the angel or the tree. The tree's leaves are embroidered hearts. The angel's silhouette is also embroidered, and it represents a female angel.
These journals were made by hand by artisans in Rajasthan, India. The artisans are compensated fairly for their work, and are given development help to help raise their communities above poverty.
