Evening Bags
Fine mirror work embroidery, hand-done by artisans of west Gujarat, India. The entire “Kutch” region was affected by a massive earthquake in 2001. This art has lived beyond the destruction and is keeping the artisans bound together. The embroidery on these bags is very fine and elegant, and completely done by hand. The bag has an inside zipped pocket, it is lined with good quality fabric inside.
This is a Fair Trade product handmade by artisans in India in the desert Rann. It is mainly done by women, who benefit from the fair wages because this makes them independent decision-makers in their communities.
