Hand embossed journal with inspirational wording such as “BE yourself, BE happy, BE positive” and the like. The cover is made of cruelty-free leather, which comes from animals that died naturally. They come from an area in Rajasthan, India, that is strictly vegetarian, and animals are great assets around the households, so killing them for their skin does not make sense. The insert paper, which is replaceable, is made by recycling cotton rags from the textile industry. This makes it eco-friendly and gives it a unique texture.
Artisans who work on these handmade products receive a living wage and work in safe environments. They are also given help to develop their communities and break the poverty cycle.
