Kutch Bookmark
This bookmark is made of a thick piece of cloth that comes in assorted colors. It is finely stitched into a neat rectangular shape. The bottom of the cloth has 5 tassels hanging from it. In the middle, there are assorted designs of fine mirror work and embroidery. This is typical art of the desert region of Kutch. It is very intricate and colorful, creating texture and color contrast with the rest of the piece of cloth. This artwork is only on one side of the bookmark. Though the piece of cloth is thick, it can be folded, but if left alone it retains its shape.
