The artisans used to depend on their handicrafts by selling them to tourists, who used to flock to this area. However, recent times of turmoil and terrorism has made this a less than desirable tourist destination, putting the artisans’ livelihood at risk. By purchasing this product, you are supporting the lives of countless people that live at risk.
