The leather is made from cruelty-free leather, meaning that it comes from animals that died naturally. The paper inside is made from recycled cotton waste, making it 100% tree-free and eco-friendly.
These journals are made by an artisan cooperative in India called Eco Friendly Papers. The artisans are compensated fairly for their work, and are given development help to help raise their communities above poverty.
